This handbook takes you from “I don’t really get what arbs are” to your first real position in Pulse. If you’ve never done an arb, never signed up at a bookmaker or a crypto venue, and aren’t quite sure what “odds” means, that’s fine. We start from zero.

Who it’s for

  • You’ve heard about arbs but don’t know how to actually work them.
  • You’ve never registered on a bookmaker or a crypto venue and you’re worried about getting lost.
  • Or you’ve bet before, and you want to understand Pulse specifically and what it does better than other scanners.

What you’ll be able to do by the end

  • Explain what an arb is and why it pays whichever side wins.
  • Read the Pulse interface without thinking and place arbs from it.
  • Sign up and fund accounts on every venue we scan.
  • Work out how much goes on each leg.
  • Open a position step by step without stepping on the rakes every beginner steps on.

The order we give every new member

01
Learn what an arb actually is.
Start with Arbitrage basics. Even if you think you know it, read it. Everything later builds on it.
02
Read how the scanner works.
The chapter Using Pulse walks through the interface: what every button does, how to set filters that fit you, and more.
03
Go through the rest of the handbook.
Venues, your first arb, risks and the rules. This is where the detail lives: every bookmaker and prediction market, the common mistakes, and the tips.
04
Ask anything in the chat.
Once you’ve read it all and let it sink in, if anything is still unclear, ask in the members chat. Me or the other guys will happily help.
05
Open the scanner and make it yours.
Now the practical part. Go to pulsebet.run/dashboard, look around on your own, get used to it, and set up filters you’re comfortable working with.
06
Register on the bookmakers and prediction markets.
All the ones available to you. See Venues for each one.
07
Pick your pair.
The combination of venues you want to work across.
08
Deposit.
Once you’ve picked your pair and registered, fund the accounts. Do it strictly in crypto.
09
Learn every market by sight.
Where Winner, Totals, Handicap, Map winner and the rest sit on each venue, so your eyes find them without searching.
10
Practise on pre-match arbs.
Find a comfortable arb on a tier 1 or tier 2 tournament, check which markets it’s on, and place it. Ideally pick a pre-match arb on a match played today, so you don’t wait long for the result.
11
Then try live.
After you’ve learned all the markets you can try live arbs. Be as careful as you can, and only bet when you’re sure you’ve read everything and can find the right market quickly and comfortably.
12
Use our browser extension.
It makes everything easier. See Browser extension.

Before you put in real money

Read this
  • This isn’t financial advice. The handbook is educational. Every decision is yours, and so is the responsibility.
  • Guaranteed profit doesn’t exist. Arbitrage lowers the risk mathematically, it doesn’t remove it. Odds change in seconds, bets get rejected, accounts get limited. We’re honest about all of that in Risks.
  • Pulse is a tool for finding arbs, not a money button. The scanner shows the opportunities. You place the bets, with your own hands and your own money.
  • Never put in money you can’t afford to lose.

If you’re fine with that, carry on to What an arb is.
