Crypto venues

Crypto gives you speed and less KYC, and brings its own traps: gas, the wrong network, volatility and slow transfers.

Most of our venues run on crypto: all the prediction markets and many of the bookmakers. Crypto gives you speed and less KYC, but brings its own details that fiat doesn’t have.

Network fees (gas)

Every blockchain transaction costs gas. On cheap networks (Polygon, Base, BNB Chain) it’s pennies, but still keep a small reserve of the native token (POL / ETH on Base / BNB), otherwise you can’t deposit or withdraw.

The network matters more than the token. Send USDC on the wrong network and you can lose the money. Always check the token and the network before a transfer. If your funds are on another network, bridge them first (through a bridge or an exchange).

Volatility

If you keep your balance in regular crypto (BTC, ETH), the price moves, and while the match is on your bankroll in dollars can go up or down. To avoid that, most people keep balances in stablecoins (USDT, USDC) pegged to the dollar.

Deposit speed

A crypto transfer usually takes minutes, but on a busy network it can be delayed. Fiat (cards, bank) takes anything from instant to a few days. Plan so the money is in place before the arb shows up, not after.
