The bet slip

Click any row in the feed and the slip opens on the right. This is where Pulse does the maths people usually get wrong.

The Pulse bet slip with ROI, two legs, stake split and outcomes
A Bet105 vs Duel handicap, $1,000 total stake.
  1. 1  ROI. Your final profit in percent after everything: venue fees and the liquidity that’s actually there. Not a shop-window number that looks good in the feed and melts when you try to bet.
  2. 2  The two legs. Venue, side and price for each one, side by side. Open ↗ takes you straight to that match on the venue. Copy link copies it.
  3. 3  Stake split. Pulse splits your bankroll between the legs so the profit is the same whichever wins. You can change the amounts by hand. Only have $500 on venue A? Type 500 there and leg B recalculates so the profit stays even.
  4. 4  If outcome is. What you end up with in each case. The point: both outcomes are positive.
  5. 5  Save to portfolio. Saves the arb to Portfolio so you can track the result and P&L later. Do it every time.

Why not just bet the same on both sides?

This is where beginners lose money most often. It feels logical to split 50/50. With different odds that breaks the arb: one outcome is up, the other is down.

bankroll $250
leg A Dexsport Under 9.5 1.970 $127
leg B Stake Over 9.5 2.050 $123
──────────────────────────────────────────
if A wins +$0.19
if B wins +$2.15

same bets at $125 each:
if A wins −$1.75 ← the arb is gone

The higher the odds on a leg, the less goes on it, because it pays back more on its own. The slip does this for you. The full logic and the formula are in How much on each leg.

Opening the venues in one click

In the feed, the icon to the left of each arb opens both matches in two new tabs at once. From the slip you can open each leg separately. Seconds matter here: a live arb can disappear while you scroll through a list of matches.
